The ‘Green Israel Forum’ Organization was established in 2011 by a young group of people
who graduated from IDF special units.
Throughout their army service, they encountered many environmental issues all over the country and became.
aware of the significant challenges the state authorities face when dealing with these issues.
The continuous deficiency of law enforcement and lack of treatment of the matter encourages numerous
institutions to negligently vandalize and pollute multiple natural sites and resources in our country.
Following the founders’ said exposure, they were filled with ambition to form an institution that will promote
environmental protection in Israel - with a Zionist outlook - and will aid the law authorities in this national endeavor.
